Pepperneck is delighted to announce that a new website developed for global fire-arms manufacturer, BSA Guns (UK) Limited, has been successfully launched at a leading industry show in Nuremberg.
Birmingham based BSA Guns required a website that would convey its historical corporate identity with its modern craftsmanship in air rifle design, and adequately reflect the company's position as a global market leader.
Pepperneck’s in-house creative team has developed a visually outstanding website that preserves BSA Guns’ heritage, whilst appealing directly to the modern day fire-arms market, as BSA Guns Managing Director, Simon Moore, confirms:
“We are extremely impressed with Pepperneck’s level of creative ideas and design expertise – the team delivered an excellent web development pitch that reinforced BSA Guns’ branding, whilst demonstrating our unique manufacturing ability in modern air rifle design.
“It is fantastic to see Pepperneck’s initial designs come to life in our new website, which confirms an excellent understanding of our original requirements.”
The new site displays BSA Guns’ entire product range using modern imagery and air rifle specification details, as well as pages dedicated to rifle training and support. The site uses strong imagery to reflect the quality of BSA’s products and is designed to appeal to both older rifle users and younger shooting enthusiasts.
Simon elaborates, “An important part of the brief was that we required the new site to support our efforts to engage with a younger and more diverse audience. BSA’s reputation for quality means we have an established customer base, but our research indicates that the majority of our customers tend to be of a similar type.
“We want to convey a more contemporary image, whilst retaining our history to ensure our products appeal to a wider range of rifle users.”
Pepperneck’s Managing Director, Steve Adams, says, “We were extremely pleased to secure the BSA Guns contract. This is a globally renowned brand and we are very proud to have been chosen to help continue its growth and evolution on an international scale.
“We have a great deal of experience in global brand management through online and offline channels, and feel privileged to be able to demonstrate our expertise with this truly iconic British brand.”
The site itself was unveiled at the IWA Outdoor Classics Exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, 7th – 10th March 2014, the top international show for hunting guns, sporting guns and outdoor equipment.
Simon continues, “Unveiling the new website at a large scale exhibition provided the perfect opportunity to showcase it to an interactive audience, who appreciated how the site protects the BSA brand, whilst incorporating innovative graphic design that depicts the variety of ways people use air rifles in the twenty-first century.”
