FIVE, Farnborough will play host to the UK's largest regional manufacturing technology, electronics and subcontracting exhibition, Southern Manufacturing, later this week.
The annual show will be attended by more than 800 exhibitors and organisers are expecting over 10,000 visitors to the two-day event.
Pepperneck’s Business Development Director, Ian Woodward, will be attending the show in order to show support for three of our longest-standing clients as part of their wider marketing programmes, as well as raising awareness of how we could help exhibitors penetrate new markets.
Pepperneck develops strategic marketing programmes designed to create sales in new target markets in the UK, as well as growing exports through existing international sales channels and helping to identify opportunities to enter new export markets.
We offer a free marketing audit service to manufacturing companies which aims to advise manufacturers on how best to grow sales in existing markets, or approach new targets both in the UK and overseas, using a full range of online and off-line communication channels.
Ian will be meeting with a number of exhibitors at Southern Manufacturing to discuss how Pepperneck can support with both UK focussed and export marketing, using the three clients exhibiting at the show to demonstrate how it can help engineer further growth for its customers.
Pepperneck clients oil mist removal specialist Filtermist International; switches, sensors and enclosures provider Bernstein Limited; and metalworking fluid manufacturer Chem Arrow will all be demonstrating their products and services at the show where they’ll be networking with existing clients, as well as generating new leads.
Filtermist products are sold in more than 60 countries worldwide. It has worked with Pepperneck for more than 13 years and has seen its export sales grow by almost 25% in the past three years. Bernstein Ltd has worked with Pepperneck for over six years – 2013 was its best trading year to date and Pepperneck will be building on this success by taking a sector focussed approach in 2014-15. Californian based Chem Arrow Corporation chose Pepperneck to help it break into the UK and European markets and will be making its UK debut at Southern Manufacturing.
Ian says, “Southern Manufacturing offers our clients an excellent opportunity to showcase their latest products and services. The show has been going for 18 years now and is a main-stay in many manufacturers’ annual marketing activities.”
Pepperneck will also be using its attendance to evaluate the potential benefits of showcasing its own services at Northern Manufacturing in October. Managing Director, Steve Adams, says, “With over 60 years of combined board level experience in sales, marketing and technology roles, Pepperneck’s directors have an acute understanding of marketing in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
“We are keen to raise awareness of how we can help companies identify and enter new global markets, as well as building their customer bases in the UK. Our close links to MAS (Manufacturing Advisory Service) and UKTI, means Pepperneck can help our clients access invaluable support and funding for their marketing programmes.”
