Pepperneck has appointed Lydia Barber as PR and Social Media Manager and Hannah Haffield as PR and Social Media Specialist following a period of sustained growth.
Lydia first joined Pepperneck in July 2012 to facilitate growth in the company’s PR and social media activities, an area of the business which was becoming increasingly busy - bringing an additional dimension to Pepperneck’s service offering to existing long-term as well as new clients.
Pepperneck's PR and Social Media activity saw an increase of 68% in turnover from 2012 to 2013, resulting in the appointment of PR specialist, Hannah Haffield, in October 2013. Lydia has been promoted to PR and Social Media Manager in recognition of the department’s success to date.
Managing Director, Steve Adams, says, “PR has been a key part of our full marketing service offering since Pepperneck was established in 2000. The long term success of our traditional media relations campaigns across a wide range of market sectors, together with the advent of social media and the increasing importance of quality content generation have been key drivers behind this growth.
“Lydia now manages a department that provides a wide range of local, national and international programmes spanning a number of traditional and digital channels. Our clients range from local retailers; to professional services such as dentist and optometrists; through to large national companies.
“Providing specialist export PR and social media support around the World for industrial manufacturing organisations is an area where Pepperneck’s specialist expertise has achieved even more outstanding success and we are looking forward to expanding this service even further during 2014.”
Lydia comments, “I am extremely lucky to have been given an opportunity to influence the direction of the PR activity offered by Pepperneck. The diverse client base makes for an extremely varied range of activities and I’m very proud that the success of the department has been recognised with a promotion and Hannah’s appointment!”
