Pepperneck will be attending two export events held in association with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) later this month to hear speakers from three of our clients discuss how their organisations successfully export to markets across the globe.
Exporting for Growth
Stuart Plimmer, Sales Manager at Filtermist and Simon Pearson, Managing Director at Jesmonite, will both be presenting at Exporting for Growth hosted in conjunction with the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce on 6th September, whilst Malvern based acquisition and procurement specialist, 3SDL, will be hosting the next HSBC & UKTI Worcestershire Export Forum - International Trade Event on 19th September.
Stuart and Simon will also be taking part in Q&A sessions to impart useful advice and examples of how their businesses have successfully overcome barriers to trade on an international scale. Filtermist’s export sales have grown by almost 25% since 2010 – it currently sells its oil mist extraction units to manufacturers in more than 60 countries worldwide, accounting for 90% of its manufacturing capacity. Filtermist has recently appointed a new distributor in Russia with support from UKTI – more details can be found here.
Meanwhile water-based moulding system manufacturer, Jesmonite, has also been working closely with UKTI to establish a presence in Russia and recently undertook a launch event at the private residence of the British consulate in St Petersburg to introduce Russia’s leading architects to the benefits of using Jesmonite.
Both companies have demonstrated their commitment to Russian markets by launching translated websites, designed and programmed by Pepperneck, to support SEO efforts in Russia. Find out more by visiting www.filtermist.ru and www.jesmonite.ru.
Delegates at the morning event in Bridgnorth will also hear from the West Midlands Regional Director at UKTI, Paul Noon and UKTI Shropshire advisor, Richard Smith.
HSBC & UKTI Worcestershire Export Forum
3SDL’s Managing Director, Matt May, will be hosting a panel of experts including UKTI finance advisor, Phil Potter, to discuss issues raised at the previous forum. Established in 2005, 3SDL delivers a range of services to defence, security and civilian clients across the globe. Its services, including trials, testing, training, exercises, experiments, evaluation and demonstrations, are all designed to help control the risk involved with buying new technologies and services.
The independently owned company currently works with a number of high-profile military organisations including the UK MoD, the Finnish Navy, the Swiss Army and Air Force, US NAVAIR and the Defence Systems Innovation Centre in Australia.
3SDL has seen turnover increase every year and was recently named as one of the Accelerate 250 – a business community made up of the 250 fastest growing companies in the UK.
Pepperneck’s Managing Director, Steve Adams, says, “The fact that three of our clients have all been invited to take part in forthcoming UKTI events is testimony to the reputations they have established as local exporting success stories. All three companies offer very different products and services, but have all significantly grown their businesses by successfully identifying and penetrating new markets.”
He continues, “Strategic export marketing activities have been vital to the success of Filtermist, Jesmonite and 3SDL, as well as a number of our other clients. Pepperneck delivers a range of tailored services to ensure our clients’ messages reach the intended audience.”
