Pepperneck attended MACH 2014 at the NEC yesterday as part of its support programme to make sure the investment made in the show by three of its clients who are exhibiting delivers maximum ROI.
Having assisted all three clients with a range of services in the run-up to MACH, including graphic and stand design, project management, email marketing, printed literature, and PR and social media support, Pepperneck was on hand to provide additional comms support throughout day one of the show and to monitor competitor activity and trends to help plan future marketing activities.
Organised by the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), MACH is the UK’s largest biannual manufacturing exhibition show and showcases all of the latest developments in manufacturing technologies.
Pepperneck clients, oil mist collector manufacturer, Filtermist International, switches sensors and enclosures specialist Bernstein Ltd, and MecWash, the UK based aqueous component cleaning machine manufacturer, are all at the show demonstrating their latest products and services to visitors.
Client Services Director, Ian Woodward, comments, “MACH is a mainstay event in the manufacturing sector’s calendar. It provides an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their latest developments and for visitors to see what’s new in manufacturing.
“This year’s show is no exception and we were very impressed with the calibre of stands.”
PR and Social Media Manager, Lydia Barber, elaborates, “Trade shows provide a number of opportunities to communicate with a range of stakeholders using both traditional and digital channels. A comprehensive comms plan should be an integral part of all trade show attendance to make sure every opportunity to raise brand profile is exploited.”
The 2012 show saw over 6,000 tonnes of working machinery on display, attracting over 21,500 visitors; this year’s event is even larger with a 25% increase in exhibitors, including household names Airbus and Rolls-Royce.
